MarketCash

What is MarketCash?

MarketCash is a loyalty credit that you earn and spend exclusively within the MarketPay platform. It is not cash, not a cash equivalent, and has no monetary value outside of MarketPay. MarketCash cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person, or converted into real currency.

How You Earn MarketCash

When you complete a purchase on MarketPay using a payment method processed through Stripe, you automatically earn 5% cashback in MarketCash on the amount charged to your card.

For example, if you buy an item for $20.00 and pay the full amount via card, you earn $1.00 in MarketCash. If you use some MarketCash toward the purchase, you earn 5% on only the portion paid by card.

How You Spend MarketCash

You can apply your MarketCash balance toward future purchases on MarketPay. During checkout, if the seller accepts MarketCash, you can choose to use some or all of your balance to reduce the amount charged to your card.

If your MarketCash balance covers the full purchase price, no card payment is required.

For Sellers

Sellers can choose whether to accept MarketCash as a form of payment on their listings. When a buyer pays with MarketCash, the corresponding amount is credited to your MarketCash balance.

MarketCash received as a seller follows the same rules — it can only be used toward purchases on MarketPay and cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash.

Restrictions

• MarketCash cannot be withdrawn from MarketPay for any reason.
• MarketCash cannot be transferred to another user.
• MarketCash cannot be converted to cash, check, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, or any other form of real-world payment.
• MarketCash cannot be sold, traded, or assigned to any third party.
• MarketCash has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash under any circumstances.

Expiration

All MarketCash credits expire 365 days from the date they are issued. Expired MarketCash is automatically removed from your balance. MarketPay does not provide compensation, refunds, or extensions for expired credits.

Program Changes

MarketPay reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the MarketCash program at any time, with or without notice. This includes changes to earn rates, expiration periods, and eligible uses.
