Privacy policy

Marketpay is operated by Intuzu (“we”). This page says what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read.

The short version

What we collect

Data organizers enter

Market name, description, address, schedule, contact details, booth fee text, categories, booths, amenities, announcements, and the vendors you add by hand. Whatever you mark as published appears on your public page at marketpay.app/m/your-market and in the markets directory. Private notes on vendors are never shown publicly.

Data vendors enter

When a vendor applies through a market’s page, they give us a business name, contact name, email address, optional phone, category, a description of what they sell, optional website and Instagram, and a message to the organizer. That application is visible to the organizers of that market. If the organizer approves the vendor and leaves “show on page” on, the business name, category, products and links appear on the public page. The vendor’s email and phone are never shown publicly.

Account data

Marketpay starts without an account. If you attach an email address to sign in from another device or invite a co-organizer, we store that email and the one-time codes we send to it. We do not store passwords because there are none. Vendors do not have accounts; their portal is a private link.

Technical data

Server logs (IP address, request path, timing, errors) kept for about 30 days for security and debugging. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the app or this site.

Payments

Marketpay does not process payments. Booth fees are shown as text you write and tracked as a paid or unpaid checkbox. We never see card or bank details.

How we use it

To run the product: store your market, render your public page, deliver applications to you, send the emails the product is built to send (application confirmations, decisions, portal links, announcements, cancellations and day-before reminders), and keep the service secure. That is the full list.

Email

We email vendors only about the market they applied to: confirmation of their application, the organizer’s decision, their portal link, announcements the organizer chooses to send, cancellations and a reminder the day before a market day. Organizers can turn reminders off per market. We do not send marketing email to vendors and we do not add anyone to a list.

Who can see it

Where it lives and how long

Data is stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1). We keep it as long as your market exists in Marketpay. When you delete a market or organization, live data is removed within 30 days and backups roll off within 90. Unpublishing a market takes it off the public page and directory right away.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we treat you the same way: you can access, correct, export or delete your data. Export and deletion are self-serve in the app. If you are a vendor and want your application removed, ask the organizer of that market, or email support@intuzu.com and we will help you and the organizer honor the request.

Children

Marketpay is for people running or vending at markets and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and update the date at the top. We will not change it to permit selling or sharing your data; that is on the promises page.
